Maria Osakwe Ed.D.
Chair, Board of Trustees
Dr. Osakwe is an administrator, teacher, and counselor. She has over twenty years’ experience as a conference speaker and Bible teacher. Osakwe is a graduate of the University of Jos, Columbus State University and Liberty University. She is an avid believer in using brain-based strategies in her classroom knowing that every child can learn and excel regardless of socio-economic background, exceptionalities or learning disability. Dr. Osakwe cofounded EMCOJEE in 2017 with the support of her children: Chinwe, Okem, Elijah and Elisha. With financial contributions from family, board members and committed donors, EMCOJEE has been able to provide support and sustenance for hundreds of families, missionaries, and communities in Nigeria and here in the United States. All donations, 100%, from non-family go directly to the mission field to provide food, housing, water, medical services, and empowerment for the poor.
Otis Lee Daniels, III
Member, Board of Trustees
Mr. Otis Lee Daniels, III, is a professional Ag Pilot (crop duster). He is committed to advancing Christian missions, prison ministry, and evangelism. Daniels has served as a prison minister at Sonlight Ministries in Wichita, Kansas, and is currently a Chaplain at the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department. In addition, he has served with the street ministry for the Atlanta Dream Center. Daniels is passionately devoted to the vision of providing potable water sources to as many people as possible in impoverished communities. He has a bachelor's degree from Friends University and is a licensed commercial pilot.
Jerry Leonard, III
Member, Board of Trustees
Mr. Jerry Leonard III is a corporate finance executive with extensive experience advising corporations through growth and overall financial stability. He brings with him years of strong expertise and background in management and financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis.
He is accomplished in evaluating and implementing complex strategies, developing financial models, and providing insightful analysis to create value, manage costs, drive profitable growth and manage change throughout the organization. Jerry's experience spans working in several capacities and top management with companies like Voya, Colgate, IBM and Pricewaterhousecoopers. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of iDoc Telehealth Solutions.
